Eligibility Criteria for SCFHS (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties)
For Dataflow Verification & Prometric Exam – Nurses
🎓 Educational Qualification:
Diploma or B.Sc. in Nursing from an Approved nursing institution.
Minimum course duration:
Diploma – 3 years
Degree (B.Sc.) – 4 years
Must include clinical training as part of the curriculum.
🪪 License / Registration:
A valid and active Nursing Registration Certificate from your home country’s Nursing Council is required.
If expired, the license should not be more than 2 years out of date.
Must also have a Good Standing Certificate from the respective council or authority.
💼 Work Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience (preferably hospital-based).
Internship is not counted toward experience.
If there’s a career gap over 2 years, valid documentation must be submitted (e.g., maternity leave, study break, etc.).
✅ Successful Dataflow Verification:
Dataflow verification is mandatory.
All educational, professional, and experience credentials are verified through Primary Source Verification (PSV).
Only candidates with a positive Dataflow report can proceed to book the Saudi Prometric exam.
📚 Academic and Professional Requirements:
Graduate in nursing (diploma or degree).
Valid and attested:
Nursing degree or diploma
Nursing registration certificate
Good standing certificate
Experience letters
📝 Prometric Exam Registration (Saudi Arabia):
Register online through the SCFHS-approved Prometric portal.
Required documents for registration:
Valid passport
Dataflow case number
Email ID & phone number
Make sure your name matches across passport and all submitted documents.
🧪 Exam Format & Preparation:
The Saudi Prometric exam is a computer-based test (CBT).
Consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) covering:
Medical-Surgical Nursing
Pediatrics
Obstetrics & Gynecology
Mental Health
Community Health, etc.
Duration: 2 hours to 2.5 hours (approx. 150–170 minutes).
Passing score: 45–50% (varies year to year).
Study guides and sample exams are widely available for preparation.
🌐 Language Proficiency:
The Prometric exam is in English.
Language proficiency is not strictly mandatory, but a strong command of English is essential to pass.
